The generous support from individuals, businesses, organizations, and clubs allows us to provide free tutoring for our adult learners so they are able to read books to their children, vote in elections, write checks, receive promotions at work, pass the GED, get their driver’s licenses, and the list goes on. These are skills they have learned and used for the very first time in their lives.

Below are a few examples illustrating our accomplishments this year thanks to the support of our donors:

• Over 150 learners have passed through our doors and have worked with more than 100 volunteer tutors.
• Our volunteer tutors donated 8,200 hours of service.
• Learning Wheels, our mobile learning classroom, distributed 6,000 free books to pre-school children and provided services and community information to 8,000 people.

• $400 will provide books to learners for our Reading & Sharing Book Club
• $100 will purchase children’s books for Learning Wheels to distribute
